Life-changing choices

I’m back. With my strongest walk-the-talk advice yet.

Getting success is a numbers game.
The question, though, is how big do you want that win to be?
Alex Hormozi talks about grand slams.
Seth Godin nudges you to maximax.
Both have in common the likelihood of losing your bet, of accumulating strikes. But once it hits... it scores big time.

The opposite would be to minimax (borrowing Seth's lingo).
You can minimize the impact of your wins. But to what end?
I realized I was minimaxing my in-person consulting results. That's why I took a break.

I took a break because I was playing in a market that offered me less. A less dynamic entrepreneurial climate. A smaller client pool. A longer timeframe from networking to consulting engagement.

Weeks later, and in a different timezone, I'm getting more traction. Same effort, same winning odds, but different levels of payoff.

If you find yourself in minimax mode, use my story as a reminder that game variables can be tweaked in your favor.

Is the current combination of playing field, gear, playbook, rulebook, actors, and assumed role getting you closer to the most important result you want to achieve? Think about this.

Reply if you want my help.

May you tweak your game!
