Convenience is dread

Denying pain is convenient. But, it won't make it go away.
Take reducing noise in your life, for example.
Convenience tells you to just ignore emails cluttering in your inbox. However, that doesn't make the mental noise go away.
Embracing the discomfort, on the contrary, nudges you to unsubscribe from things, one at a time. Thus, you slay stress out of your life.
Don't become a master at ignoring your pain. Use distress to cultivate a meaningful life instead.
